PURPOSE: To measure the deterioration of insulating oil readily, by measuring dielectric dissipation factor, insulation resistance rate and temperature of the insulating oil, and comparing the measured values with preset levels.
CONSTITUTION: Insulating oil for electric equipment is circulated and transferred between a tank 1 and a detecting part 3 by a pump 4. In the detecting part 3, an electric-characteristics measuring part 5 such as electrodes, which measures dielectric dissipation factor tanδ and insulation resistance rate, and a temperature sensor 6, which measures the temperature when the electric characteristics are measured, are provided. The measured values are sent to a data processing part 7 and compared with the electric characteristics for the preset temperature. The result is sent to the outside.
