Abstract:
PURPOSE: To solidify and detoxify heavy metals by making waste solution formed in COD determination by use of K2Cr2O7 contact with selective adsorption agent for heavy metals, by controlling the pH at a specific value, and then by addition of a reducing agent for Cr, a fixing agent for heavy metal, and solidifying agent to the separated residue containing Cr, Fe, etc.
