Abstract:
To provide a developer recovery device that can prevent resonance of a conveying screw in conveying a developer to be recovered without reducing conveyance performance.SOLUTION: A developer recovery device comprises: a conveyance container that forms a developer conveyance path and has a developer discharge port on a terminal side of the conveyance path; and a conveying screw that is arranged inside the conveyance path of the conveyance container, has a screw shaft and a screw blade projecting outward in a radial direction from the screw shaft, and conveys a developer removed from an image carrier and stored in the conveyance container to the developer discharge port. The conveyance container has a screw support part on the downstream side of the developer discharge port in a developer conveyance direction; the conveying screw has an engagement part that is formed at one end of the conveying screw while projecting outward in the radial direction from the screw shaft; the engagement part is rotatably engaged with the screw support part.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5
