Toner t stored in the device main body 11 is held on the surface of the toner carrier 14, and the toner is guided to a development area opposite to an image carrier P by the toner carrier, and development is carried out. The toner remaining on the surface of the toner carrier after the development is made to pass through the sealing member 16, thereby returning it to the inside of the device main body. In the developing device, a highly heat conductive material is used as the sealing member.
