To provide a device arrangement system for creating an arrangement plan satisfying constraints for the arrangement of device groups and optimizing a certain evaluation criterion in a short time.
The device arrangement system comprises an arrangement criterion point creating part 25 for creating an arrangement criterion point as a candidate of device arrangement on an arrangement space, a device group setting part 26 for setting the arrangement and number of devices constituting the device groups, a device information database 20 for storing information regarding the physical conditions of the devices or device groups to be arranged on the arrangement space, a system information database 21 for storing information regarding a mutual connection relationship between the devices or device groups to be arranged on the arrangement space, and device arrangement processing part 24 for determining arrangement coordinates of the devices or device groups to optimize the certain evaluation criterion in accordance with the arrangement criterion point created by the arrangement criterion point creating part 25 and for creating the arrangement plan.
