Abstract:

To reliably prevent a surge accompanied by a rapid accelerator-off operation from taking place in a supercharger having a compressor provided with a movable vane mechanism in a diffuser.

The supercharger control device (100) is provided for controlling the supercharger (300) provided with a compressor (340) in a suction passage (205) of an internal combustion engine (200) as a one of the driving sources of a vehicle (10), the compressor having movable vanes (343) capable of adjusting the airflow rate according to the opening angle thereof. The supercharger control device includes: a controller for controlling the opening angle so that the operation point of the supercharger falls within a certain operation permitted area which does not correspond to a surge area and an overspeed area; and a permitter for permitting, as the opening angle, an opening angle that allows the operation point to fall within the overspeed area when the vehicle in a rapid deceleration.
