Abstract:

To transiently control an engine torque so that shock by torque step difference may not be generated when shifting from an automatic transmission mode to a manual transmission mode.

In an automatic transmission mode, an engine output is controlled so as to set up a target engine torque TeA for the automatic transmission mode found out by dividing a required driving shaft torque which can be found out from an accelerator pedal stepping amount and a vehicle speed by a transmission ratio of a driving system. On the other hand in a manual transmission mode, the engine output is controlled so as to set up a required engine torque TeD found out from the accelerator pedal stepping amount and an engine speed, thereby disorder feeling can be removed that a relation between accelerator pedal operation and the engine torque is different per shift stage in manual transmission. Torque difference is generated when shifting from the automatic transmission to the manual gear change, however, just after a shifting period t1, a target engine torque TeMS for shifting to the manual transmission mode is processed by a filter so as to be changed while being matched with the transmission response delay of a continuously variable transmission, and at the time of shift finishing period t2, TeMS reaches TeD.
