Abstract:
PURPOSE: To decrease undesired radiation with simple constitution by providing a muting circuit to an antenna circuit of other bands other than a VHF band to activate the muting circuit while the VHF band is received.
CONSTITUTION: A muting switch 17 is connected to an antenna terminal 12 such as LW, MW, SW. When the radio receiver is selected to the VHF band, the switch 17 is turned on and muting is applied to the terminal 12. Thus, it is prevented that the leakage of local oscillation of the VHF band is radiated to an antenna terminal 11 of the VHF band.
