PURPOSE: To facilitate the taking-out operation of a waste liquid subjected to processing by providing a heating kettle in such a manner that the upper part thereof can be freely opened and closed by a movable cap.
CONSTITUTION: The base part 31 of the heating cap 30 is pivotally fitted to the upper part of the heating kettle 10 in such a manner that said part can be freely opened and closed. A locking mechanism 40 is provided to the other end of the cap 30. The inside of the kettle 10 is hermetically closed by a sealing material 32 in the state of putting the cap 30 on the kettle 10. The waste photographic processing liquid charged into the kettle 10 is heated and concentrated by a heating section 50 including heaters 51 suspended from the upper part of the cap 30 and the evaporating components thereof are condensed. The waste liquid treated in such a manner is discharged from the kiln 10 by removing the mechanism 40 and opening the cap 30. The heating section 51 suspended from the cap 30 is taken out of the kettle 10 as the cap 30 is opened; thereafter, the treated waste liquid in the kettle 10 is discharged without being splashed to the surroundings.
