Title:
DEVICE FOR FIRING LIGHT-FIRING THYRISTOR
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPS57202870
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:
PURPOSE:To inhibit to input a firing light signal to a thyristor while a reverse voltage is applied to the thyristor by breaking a light switch with the output signal of a reverse voltage detector provided between the anode and the cathode of the thyristor. CONSTITUTION:When a reverse voltage is applied between the anode and the cathode of each thyristor 3, a reverse voltage is detected by a partial voltage resistor 17 as a reverse voltage detector, a light switch 16 is opened by a reverse voltage detection signal S12, and a reverse voltage detection signal S11 is interrupted. In this manner, when the reverse voltage is applied to the thyristor, no gate signal is applied to the gate of the thyristor, thereby improving the reliability of a device for firing the thyristor.
