To provide a device for guiding knitted fabric in a knitting machine that can prevent formation of lateral bars when knitting a material for panty stockings of all-through type, high-leg cut type, etc., by regulating the suction speed inside the fabric pipe at a constant rate.

This knitted fabric guide device which is provided inside the cylinder of a knitting machine applies tension to the knitted fabric by suction of the knitted fabric downward, and when knitting operation is completed, it takes up the knitted fabric from the knitting machine. It comprises a fabric pipe 1 which is fixedly inserted inside the cylinder in a coaxial arrangement and includes a portion 1b with a larger diameter at the top and a portion 1c with a smaller diameter at the bottom, and an inner tube 2 detachably fitted inside the fabric pipe at its top, the inner diameter of the inner tube 2 and that of the portion 1c with the smaller diameter at the bottom of the fabric pipe being made equal.
