PURPOSE: To enable cooking food with good results by a method wherein a control means decides, according to data from a temperature detecting means and a cooking mode selected by a cooking setting means, a minimum heating time and a cooking finish temperature and controls a heating means on the basis of data from the temperature detecting means.
CONSTITUTION: An input from a means for directing the start of cooking 6 causes a decision on the initial temperature to be classified into temperature zones I-IV. The decision on the temperature zone is followed by setting of baking temperature TA, sequence control temperature TB, minimum baking temperature Tm1, and limiter time Tmax, all according to the temperature zone, each value of which is corrected respectively into TA', TB', Tm1' (1'), Tmax' by adjustment of finish, and then the heating is started. After an elapse of one second, counting of the limiter time Tmax' is started. The temperature inside the oven is measured and compared with the baking temperature TA' prior to passage to Tmax'; when a rise over TA' is shown, the flag is set to signify that the temperature has reached TA'.
