Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide improved stability, efficiency carrying and setting wheels in pans mounted on a rotary table at equal intervals and placing a fixture on them, and fitting a tire onto the fixture from the above for automatic tire installation work.
CONSTITUTION: A rotary table which intermittently-rotates is mounted on the top of a device frame 8, and pans 11 for as four wheels and the like are positioned on the identical periphery at equal intervals through a cushioning material so as to be moved in a vertical direction. A chuck reciprocating base which moves along a pair of upper and lower supporting guide rails which are mounted horizontally between a pair of right and left chuck supporting columns 12 vertically-installed on the frame 8 is installed. A tire diameter increasing and pressuring-in means 15, a wheel conveyance means 16, a tire conveyance means 17, and an assembled products delivery means 18 are installed on the frame 8. A tire assembling fixture 23 is placed on a wheel 2 which is loaded and set in the pan 11, and a tire 3 is fitted onto the fixture 23 to pressing-in the tire 3 into the wheel 2 with the tire diameter increasing and pressuring-in means 15 and assemble the tire.
