Abstract:
PURPOSE: To measure the volume of earth and sand discharged accurately by detecting the thickness of earth and sand on an earth and sand transfer path composed of a conveyor means by using a level sensor and transmitting an output from the level sensor over an excavated earth and sand volume arithmetic section and arithmetically operating the output.
CONSTITUTION: An earth and sand transfer path 13 is formed by conveyor means 2, 12, and the thickness of earth and sand 23 on the transfer path 13 is detected by employing a level sensor 20. The detection value is transmitted over an excavated earth and sand volume arithmetic section 21, and the volume of discharged earth and sand 23 is arithmetically operated, and displayed onto a display 22.
