Abstract:

PURPOSE: To provide a method for executing shape control in a rolling mill with high accuracy.
CONSTITUTION: Linear relationship is extracted with function approximating part 2 using a basic element pattern which is present in a learning data storage part 1 and, after preliminarily implementing the linear relationship that is present in a learning data group 1 in a neural network 7 with a load coefficient setting part 3, shape is recognized with high accuracy by learning the neural network 7. Then, the linear relationship that is present in the shape pattern is set as the initial value of the load coefficient of the neural network, so the optimum pattern recognition is implemented.
