Abstract:
To accurately count parts arranged on the same plane and held to a part holding member in a short time.
A device is used for counting the parts arranged on the same plane and held to the part holding member 201. The device has an X-ray irradiator 111 irradiating X-rays in the direction crossing with a surface on which the parts are held, and a detector 112 detecting the intensity distribution of X-rays transmitted through the part holding member 201. The device further has an image former forming an image on the basis of the intensity distribution of X-rays detected by the detector 112, and a counter counting the number of part images in the image formed by the image forming section.
