Abstract:
PURPOSE:To remove dust attached to the surface of a disk so as to prevent the reproducing quality from lowering, by installing a brush to the disk inserting port of a player and cleaning the disk surface at the time of loading the disk. CONSTITUTION:When a disk 14 is loaded, an area 100-1 is cleaned by a brush 28. Then an elevating device 26 pushes a disk holder 24 upward and the disk 14 is fitted to a disk rotating shaft 22 and, under this condition, rotating action of an 1/5 rotation shown by the arrow I is made. The elevating device 26 lowers the disk 14 at this rotating position and releases the engagement between the disk 14 and shaft 22. At the same time, a driving roller 16 performs the discharging and sending of the disk 14 and by these operations a cleaning area 100-2 is cleaned. Thereafter, five times of cleaning operations at different positions of the disk 14 are continuously performed and uniform cleaning on the front surface of the disk 14 is completed.
