PURPOSE: To provide a printing device where offset toner is decreased and removed and misprinting does not occur.
CONSTITUTION: This device is provided with a rotating fixing roller 1 so as to fix a toner image 5 formed on a recording medium (recording paper) 4. The fixing roller 1 is heated, and the toner image 5 is fixed on the recording medium 4 while it is pressed and brought into contact with the fixing roller 1. The minute offset toner particles 6 are accumulated and broken down to such minute particles that they are not recognized as an image before they become such large particles that they are recognized as the image by an offset toner breakdown device. Desirably, the offset toner breakdown means is a brush roller 3, which follows the rotating fixing roller 1 and is rotated equally to the rotating circumferential speed of the fixing roller 1 in substance. As for the amount of the formed offset toner 6, the occurrence of the offset toner 6 on the fixing roller 1 is restrained and reduced by decreasing the torque fluctuation of a driving motor for the fixing roller 1.
