This workflow managing device is provided with an interface repository 7 for registering the interfaces of basic systems 4 and 5 linked to the workflow, a workflow definition GUI 1 for defining the workflow so as to integrate the interfaces of the basic systems 4 and 5 and a workflow managing server 2 for managing the connection of the basic systems 4 and 5 by referring to the interfaces defined by the workflow definition GUI 1. Since the workflow managing server 2 manages the connection of the basic systems 4 and 5 by referring to the interfaces defined by the workflow definition GUI 1, the existent basic systems 4 and 5 can be easily linked to the workflow.
