To provide a subject recommendation device, a subject recommendation method and a program for specifying a point of view as the center of a current conversation, and for providing a subject which is close to the point of view, and which is far from the other points of view.
A subject recommendation device 100 includes: a subject database 11 of a storage part 1 in which information showing a subject and a keyword showing the content of the subject of two or more different points of view which is common to a plurality of subjects are stored to be associated with each other; a point of view determination part 2 for calculating the weight of each point of view based on words and phrases extracted from the conversation of the user; a similarity calculation part 3 for calculating prescribed similarity based on the keyword about the subject presented to the user latest and the subject of the subject database; a subject retrieval part 4 for retrieving the subject, from the subject database, in which the sum of a value calculated by multiplying similarity in the point of view whose weight is large by a prescribed positive number and a value calculated by multiplying similarity in the point of view whose weight is small by a prescribed negative number is the largest; and a presentation part 5 for presenting the subject to the user.
