PURPOSE: To generate a shape model with efficient procedures by generating shape model transform procedures suitable for the inputted shape while referring contents stored in a shape operation history storing means and contents stored in a shape model transform procedure storing library.

CONSTITUTION: A shape input history storing means 11 is provided to store the contents of executed shape operations and the order of the shape operations as shape input history when preparing the shape by inputted the two-dimensional or three-dimensional shape. On the other hand, a shape model transform supporting device 3 is provided with a shape model transform procedure library 13 storing the suitable shape model transform procedures corresponding to the shape to be prepared. Then, the shape model transform procedures are prepared so as to be suitable for the inputted shape while referring the contents stored in the shape operation history storing means 11 and the contents stored in the shape model transform procedure library 13. Thus, the shape model transform procedures suitable for the inputted shape can be automatically generated.
