Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily take excavated earth and sand into a chamber with an overbreak device miniaturized by a method wherein one side of a saddle case with a disk cutter rotatively mounted thereon is supported turnably while a hydraulic jack is connected to the other side thereof.
SOLUTION: A saddle case 44 with a second disk cutter 53 rotatively supported thereon with a rotational shaft 52 is arranged between guide plates 42 and 43 fixed to a cutter head frame 16, and fixing parts 45a, 45b on one side thereof are turnably connected to the guide plates 42, 43 with support shafts 47a, 47b while fixing parts 46a, 46b on the other side are connected through a connecting shaft 51 to a driving rod 50 of a hydraulic jack 48 mounted swingably with a swing shaft 49 to the cutter head frame 16. Thereby, the saddle case 44 supported in sliding with the guide plates 42, 43 is swung by the hydraulic jack 48, and overbreak is made at the tunnel wall surface with the second disk cutter 53 projected and retracted. Accordingly, excavated earth and sand can be taken in easily with the hydraulic jack 48 miniaturized.
