Abstract:

PURPOSE: To clean the contamination of polishing pellets without requiring an electric drive source such as a motor at all.

CONSTITUTION: This lifting/polishing device for pachinko (Japanese pinball game) balls provided with a lifting tube 2 inserted with a spiral body 4 inside, stirring and mixing the pachinko balls and polishing pellets via the rotation of the spiral body 4, and lifting the pachinko balls while polishing them, a selecting device 8 provided on an opening section 9 at the upper end of the lifting tube 2 and selecting the pachinko balls and the polishing pellets, and a circulating tube 14 returning the selected polishing pellets to the lifting tube 2. A cleaning section 17 of the polishing pellets is provided in the middle of the circulating tube 14. The cleaning section 17 is constituted of a meshy tube 18 formed with a net having the mesh smaller than the polishing pellets, impellers 20a, 20b arranged in the meshy tube 18, and a dust collecting tube 19 closely surrounding the outer periphery of the meshy tube 18. The impellers 20a, 20b are freely rotated by the drop of the polishing pellets passing through the meshy tube 18, and a granular abrasive is stuck to the whole surfaces.
