PURPOSE: To obtain a compact device for pressurizing a lap capable of firmly and uniformly winding a web onto a lap bobbin in winding the web and forming the lap.
CONSTITUTION: Plural pressurizing units 40 and (40a) supporting pressurizing rollers 41 and (41a) are installed in the tip of an installation base 38 capable of lifting and lowering with a pressurizing cylinder 30 provided in a frame 4 so as to enable the insertion into a space between lap plates 23. Each of the pressurizing rollers 41 and (41a) is constructed so as to pressurize the full width of a lap bobbin 5. A driving motor 46 is driven to positively rotate the respective pressurizing rollers 41 and (41a) at the same surface speed as that of winding drums 2 and 3. Thereby, a web (U) is wound around the lap bobbin 5.
