To solve a problem that countermeasures against drift depositions obstructing a device are not particularly taken into account when using a small hydraulic power generating device, and a problem of an efficient water intake countermeasure considered as a certain degree of an essential point.
This device has a form that a streaky screen part and a funneled water collecting part are connected to each other. In the screen part, a screen has a streaky shape that plate-like long members are arranged in parallel at approximately equal intervals in a range of approximately 20 to 50 mm, and also the screen is arranged at an inclination angle in a range of approximately 30 to 50 degrees to a stream when the screen is streaked in a direction orthogonal to a water surface. In the funneled water collecting part, a funneled part having an outline of an obelisk shape, a tubular part, and a flange part are provided, and are connected to each other. The device for preventing inflow of drift depositions and also collecting water is provided further with a connecting means to an intake pipe and a fixing means to a water bottom in rivers or the like, and is used by being connected to the intake of the intake pipe of the hydraulic power generating device.
