Abstract:
PURPOSE: To pasteurize and disinfect fishes, vegetables, etc., by a simple structure at a low cost without emitting odor, etc., or affecting the human body.
CONSTITUTION: Tap water is fed into a water tank 1, solenoid valves EV1, EV2 of a water feed piping system 5 and solenoid valves EV4, EV7 of a water discharge piping system 6 are opened and voltage is impressed between the positive and negative electrodes of an electrolytic device 4 to start the production of acid water and alkali water. By electrolysis in the device 4, acid water is discharged from water discharge branch pipes 6a, 6c and alkali water from water discharge branch pipes 6b, 6d. After purge operation, voltage is impressed with reversed polarities so as to inhibit electric corrosion, solenoid valves EV5, EV6 are opened and the production of acid water and alkali water is continued.
