To provide a device for removing both ends of bean sprouts, capable of cutting and removing both root parts and head parts from bean sprouts.

This device for removing both ends of bean sprouts is composed of a cutting conveyor 22 which is horizontally arranged between a plurality of cutters 23 formed with a blade part 25 perpendicular to the moving direction, an inclined blade part 24 and a parallel blade 26 on both the edges through facing toward each other the blade parts of the cutters 23 adjacent to each other at intervals followed by rowing back and forth, and which repeats movement to the feed direction and stoppage, and a transfer conveyor 28 which is arranged at interval with the cutting conveyor 22 on the upper side of the cutting conveyor 22, and which has a transfer bar 27 continuously moving at a speed slower than the movement speed of the feed direction of the cutting conveyor 22. The device comprises supplying bean sprouts in a condition of making the length direction parallel to the moving direction of the cutting conveyor 22 onto the cutting conveyor 22, and cutting and removing both root parts and head parts from bean sprouts by relative displacement of the cutting conveyor 22 and the transfer conveyor 28.
