Abstract:
PURPOSE: To miniaturize an actuator by changing action of a vertically movable hook and a horizontally movable needle corresponding to polarity of solenoid and selecting the hook and selecting warp arbitrarily.
CONSTITUTION: In a hook selecting device of weaving machine for rush, a knife 2 fixed to a longitudinal slider 20 is moved downward, a lateral slider 8 is driven through a cam 7 to the right, a sliding rod 8 is engaged with a hook 19 of a needle 4 and the needle 4 is horizontally displaced to the right to incline a hook 1 to the right. Then current is injected to a solenoid 9, an operating element 14 is rotated, brought into contact with the end of the needle 4, the needle 4 is prevented from returning. The hook 1 is left in an inclined state as it is and warp 13 is moved to the right by function of a pusher 12. On the other hand, when polarity of the solenoid 9 is not changed, the needle 4 is not restricted as is mentioned above and the knife 2 is engaged with a hook 3 by moving the slider 20 upward to pull up the hook 1. Consequently, the pusher 12 is positioned below a heddle needle 11 and the warp 13 is left as it is. The warp 13 is arbitrarily selected according to the polarity of the solenoid 9 in this way.
