PURPOSE: To reduce as much of vibration transmitted to a vehicle room as possible to enhance the performance of mounts by using passive mounts fundamentally for engine mounting so as to reduce costs, and performing vibration control between each active mount used by a minimum number and the passive mount.
CONSTITUTION: Some of plural mounts 6 for supporting an engine 1 are of active type by which dynamic characteristics can be switched from one to another. A computer 16 calculates a vibration input S to be fed to the active mounts 6 in accordance with desired vibration that can cancel out vibration transmitted to the vehicle room from other than the active mounts 6, and outputs the desired vibration by feeding the vibration input S to the active mounts 6.
