Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide a detection device for damages to a fan vane of combustion equipment which is well capable of detecting damages of the fan vanes.
CONSTITUTION: A frequency detection device 6 detects the frequency of the sound generated by the vanes 3 of a fan when they cut through the air and a rotational speed detection device 7 detects the rotational speed of the vane 3 of the fan. A damage detection means 9 judges that at least one of the fan vanes 3 is damaged when a frequency detected by the frequency detection device 6 is smaller by a specified value than the frequency that is specified by the calculation based on the rotational speed detected by the rotational speed detecting device 7 and the number of the fan vanes.
