Abstract:
Apparatus for transmission of sonic energy to the processing of work wherein the sonic energy is transmitted through a vibratory member to a fixture having spaced abutment surfaces in which the distance between the surfaces and the surfaces of the work piece facing said abutment surfaces where inserted therebetween is equal to of the amplitude of the vibration in the direction parallel with a line connecting said surface.
