Abstract:
PURPOSE: To miniaturize a device by reducing the number of signal lines and to reduce noises relating to a recording/reproducing device wherein wiring is made from a head assembly having a plurality of heads to a printed board.
CONSTITUTION: In an FPC3 for connecting a head assembly 32 and a printed board 33, head selection is performed by means of two signal lines of a control data line 41 and a clock line 42 connected between a serial/parallel conversion circuit 37 provided in the head assembly 32 and a parallel/serial conversion circuit 39 provided in the printed board 33. Transmission of read data and write data is switched by first and second switching circuits 38 and 40 provided thereon and connection is performed by means of the two signal lines.
