Title:
SPRAY/DEPOSIT DEVICE
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPS6440166
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To reduce the cutting off part at both ends of a preform and to improve the product yield as well by composing a collector by joining a core pipe or solid core in the vertical direction to a disk.

CONSTITUTION: A nozzle B is opened, a molten metal 3 is flowed out, a low temp./high pressure inert gas or reducing gas is injected from an atomizer 4 and a slenderly flowed molten metal 3 is formed in a spray stream 5. The spray stream 5 is stably deposited on the inclined disk 9 provided on a drive/ system 7 and a cylindrical preform 2 can be manufactured. The both end parts 2a, 2b of the cylindrical preform are cut off to make a finished part. The spray stream is thus not scattered with its deposit on the disk, the cutting off of both end parts of the preform is reduced, the product yield is improved and the preform approximate to the product shape can be executed.
