Abstract:
PURPOSE: To produce an enzyme dextrin dextranase used in producing dextran utilized in the medical, biochemical fields, etc., from inexpensive raw materials.
CONSTITUTION: Dextrin dextranase is obtained by culturing a microorganism, belonging to the genus Gluconobacter and capable of producing the dextrin dextranase, extracting the dextrin dextranase from the microbial cells with an organic solvent and further collecting the aforementioned dextrin dextranase. Furthermore, a method for producing the dextrin dextranase is provided.
