Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide a diamond containing composite coated member which has a flat surface and also enables to easily perform a fabrication, and the simple manufacturing method.
CONSTITUTION: The diamond containing composite coated member consists of a base plate, cubic boron nitride particles adhesively bonded to the base plate and a composite layer consisting of diamond, and the composite incorporates 10-100μm cubic boron nitride particles in the particle size at a position in the vicinity of the base plate in the composite layer, and the surface layer part in the composite incorporates ≤2μm cubic boron nitride particles. Namely, after the 10-100μm cubic boron nitride particles in the particle size were dispersedly stuck on the base plate, a diamond film is formed on the base plate by a vapor deposition method, and consequently the ≤2μm cubic boron nitride particles in the diameter are dispersedly stuck on the diamond film and the diamond film is formed on it by the vapor deposition method, thus the diamond containing composite coated member is produced.
