PURPOSE: To form a product having high quality by die casting at a high yield with high productivity by evacuating the inside of a cavity via a valve constituting a part of the wall surface of a runner provided to a metallic die then injecting molten aluminum into the cavity.
CONSTITUTION: A valve 8 which is provided at the terminal of a runner 7 of a die 1 and constitutes a part of the wall surface at said terminal is opened by the operation of a cylinder 6 via a solenoid valve 15 for control and after the inside of the cavity 2, runner 7 and spool 9 of the die 1 is evacuated, the valve 8 is closed. The aluminum melted by heating in a heating column 3 is admitted through a nozzle 4 into the spool 9 and a hydraulic cylinder 11 is driven to advance a piston 12 thereby injecting the molten metal into the cavity 2. Since the inside of the cavity 2 is evacuated, the molten aluminum is packed quickly to each corner in the mold and the die casting product having high quality is obtd.
