To provide a die-casting device capable of rationally conducting a series of operations from mold clamping to starting of molten metal pouring.
The die-casting device is provided with a mold clamping device, wherein after earring a mold D1 between a stationary die plate 11a and a movable die plate 11b by placing on a mold transfer stand 22, and by moving the movable die plate 11b in the lateral direction toward the stationary die plate 11a to thereby pressurize the mold D1 by the both plates 11a, 11b, the mold clamping is effected. The movable die plate 11b comes into contact with the mold D1 at the stage before pressurizing the mold D1 to move it toward the die plate 1a facing the lateral direction. By using such a lateral moving operation of the mold D1, the molten metal feeding sleeve 12 is constituted to be inserted into a molten metal pouring port 13 of the mold D1.
