The dielectric ceramic comprises 100 pts.wt. basic component represented by the formula (Ba1-xCax)mTiO3+αMO+βMgO+γMnO+δReO3/2 (wherein α, β, γ, and δ are each a molar ratio; M is at least either Ba or Ca; Re is at least one chosen from Y, Gd, Tb, Dy, Ho, Er and Yb; and 0.02≤x≤0.15, m≤0.990, 1.040≤α+m≤1.070, 0.0001≤β≤0.050, 0.0001≤γ≤0.025 and 0.001≤δ≤0.060) and 0.5-5.0 pts.wt. SiO2-containing sintering aid.
