Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a dielectric paste which can form a precise dielectric film through a low temperature calcination at a temperature below 870°C.
SOLUTION: This invention is concerned with a dielectric paste, which contains glass powder, dielectric powder composed of a lead-based perovskite compound and an organic vehicle, and the glass powder possesses a composition represented by xBi2O3-yPbO-zSiO2 (the unit of x, y and z is mol%) and its composition ratio (x, y and z) is in a region enclosed by a point A (25, 5 and 70), a point B (10, 20 and 70), a point C (10, 60 and 30), a point D (35, 60 and 5), and a point E (90, 5 and 5) as indicated in a ternary composition diagram in the attached figure 1. When the dielectric paste is used as a dielectric film, a thick film capacitor excellent in humidity resistance reliability is obtained.
