Abstract:
PURPOSE:To provide a diesel exhaust emission control device in which the regeneration of a diesel particulate filter (DPF) for collecting diesel particulates is effectively carried out while protecting a battery or the like. CONSTITUTION:The exhaust gas from a diesel engine 11 is supplied to a DPF 13 via an exhaust pipe 12. The DPF 13 is provided with a heater 14 for regeneration use and a burner 16, and an electronic control unit (ECU) 25 controls the heater 14 and the burner 16. At the time of start of regeneration under the operating condition of the engine 11, a heater 14 is electrified for executing the regeneration of the DPF 13 for a prescribed time; when the engine 11 is stopped during a the regeneration, the electrification to the heater 14 is cut off, and the burner 16 is ignited for completing a prescribed regenerating operation.
