Title:
DIESEL PARTICLE SAMPLING DEVICE
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP3737776
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a diesel particle sampling device which minimizes the influence of a pressure fluctuation or a pulsation in an exhaust-gas flow on a diesel particle extraction measurement.
SOLUTION: In the diesel particle sampling device 10, an exhaust gas is sent to an analyzer from an exhaust-gas source. The sampling device is provided with a probe 14 which receives the exhaust gas, an intake pipeline 12 which sends the exhaust gas from a tail pipe 13 to a mixer 16 used to mix the exhaust gas with a diluent gas and a diluting tunnel 18 which sends the exhaust gas and the diluent gas to the analyzer from the mixer while they are being mixed. In addition, the sampling device is provided with a flow-pulse cancellation means 20 which communicates with at least one from among the exhaust-gas flow channels, which introduces pressure pulses for cancellation and which minimizes the influence of the pressure pulses existing inside the tail pipe 13.
