Title:
DIFFERENTIAL PHASE ENCODING APPARATUS AND METHOD OF CPM SPREAD SPECTRUM COMMUNICATION
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP3730236
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an apparatus and a method for conducting differential phase encoding on a CPM spread spectrum signal.
SOLUTION: A phase determining circuit has a phase selection signal connected to a register as an input for its output. A phase selector has the phase selection signal as a first input, a symbol code as a second input, and a phase encoded signal as its output. The phase encoded signal comprises chip streams, and a switch outputs even chip streams and odd chip streams. An odd modulator connected to a first waveform from an odd waveform generator responding to odd chip streams and connected to a first carrier and an even modulator connected to a second waveform from an even waveform generator responding to even chip streams, and connected to a second carrier, are equipped, and phases of the first carrier and the second carrier are offset at only 90°, and an output from each modulator is added and composed to be outputted.
