Title:
DIFFUSION EMPHASIS IMAGING METHOD, DYNAMIC IMAGING METHOD AND MRI DEVICE
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP3069286
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress the artifact resulted from body motion.
SOLUTION: An exciting pulse R1 and a slice gradient S1 exciting a slice S are applied. A diffusion emphasizing gradient MPG 1 is then applied. A reverse pulse R2 and a FOV limiting gradient RS for limiting the data collecting area to the above narrow FOV are applied. A diffusion emphasizing gradient MPG 2 is then applied. Positive and negative reed gradients RA, RB are alternately and continuously applied m-times, and MR data are collected from a plurality of imaged echoes e1∼em while a phase encode gradient W is applied. The amplitude-time product of the phase encode gradient W is 1/(γ.FOV) when magnetic rotating ratio is γ. Thus, a diffusion emphasized image with practical resolution in which the FOV in the phase encode axial direction is narrowed, but the artifact resulted from body motion is suppressed can be provided.
