To efficiently and easily evaluate the quality of a digital broadcast reception signal without depending upon transmission technician's experience and perception when searching for an optimum signal reception point.
A signal reception station decider 23 calculates a weight for each desired station in such a manner that the closer to an examination point the device is and the larger the value of an electric field is, the larger the weight is, and determines one of the stations having the largest weight as a signal reception station. A same channel station extractor 24 regards a desired station having the same media and channel as the signal reception station as an SFN station, and outputs an SFN station point electric-field list L7. On the basis of a signal reception station point electric-field list L6, the SFN station point electric-field list L7, an analog disturbance station point electric-field list L8 and a digital disturbance station point electric-field list L9, a point equivalent C/N list generator 28 generates a point equivalent C/N list L10 having an equivalent C/N for each detail point while considering an SFN interference wave, an analog interference wave and a digital interference wave. A map display 3 displays the point equivalent C/N list L10 on a map.
