Abstract:
To provide a digital camera capable of controlling brightness and contrast.
A method according to one embodiment comprises a step for generating a signal indicative of ambient light around an LCD panel provided in a digital camera. Furthermore, the method comprises a step for controlling at least either LCD panel brightness or its contrast based on at least a part of the signal indicative of ambient light around the LCD panel. Various modifications, variations and alternatives should be possible within the scope of the present embodiment.
