Title:
DIGITAL CAMERA
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPH1155558
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

To make a density stepwise difference at borders of a photographed image consisting of pluralities of pasted partial images inconspicuous.

An object is photographed separately horizontally by two CCDs 12, 13 so that borders are overlapped with each other. Both the photographed images are stored in an image memory 193 via an analog signal processing circuit 191 and an A/D converter section 192. After dispersion in the sensitivity distribution in photographed faces is corrected by a shading correction section 194, an image synthesis section 196 pastes borders to generate the photographed image of the entire object. In the photographed image, the image of the border is generated by reducing a density stepwise difference of both the borders of the horizontal partial images through the processing of averaging arithmetic operation for the images of the borders, and the resulting photographed image is generated by synthesizing the processed border image and the partial images except the horizontal border images.
