To provide digital communication equipment in which a digital signal is transmitted with high reliability by using a transmission line affected by low frequency cut by a transformer, has much line distortion where high frequency attenuation is in existence.
Transmission data 4 of a binary base band received by a transmission section are differentially coded by a differential coding section 11. A carrier generating section 13 outputs a clock signal with the same frequency as a symbol rate of the transmission data 4, and leading and trailing edges of a clock waveform are deviated within a range of 1/4 symbol time or over and 1/3 symbol time or below from a level inversion timing of a waveform of an output of the differential coding section 11. An output of the differential coding section 11 and the clock signal are multiplied by a multiplier section 12 and its output is amplified by a transmission signal amplifier section via a transmission signal band limit filter 14 and the amplified signal is outputted to a transmission line.
