Abstract:
PURPOSE:To decide the seriousness of an error from the frequency of retrial and to improve the maintainability by detecting errors by self-diagnosis, and a serious error and retrying the process as to an unserious error. CONSTITUTION:A controller 1 takes diagnoses such as an initialization check at the time of power-on operation, and a response check, a communication check, etc., on a CPU unit 2, a PIO unit 3, etc., at specific timing. If a serious error is detected as a result of the diagnoses, a processing for stopping the controller 1 is performed and the error is stored. For the error which is decided as an unserious error, the processing is retried plural times and even if the error still occurs, the error is stored as a serious error and a countermeasure is taken.
