This digital flicker meter digitally actualizes square detection to be performed, by passing an inputted power source signal of an object to be measured via a low-pass filter which performs squaring operation and deletes a doubled band of a fundamental wave and a high-pass filter which deletes DC components; and specific initialization processing, where an input waveform is specified and inputted is performed and then the squaring operation, the operation by the low-pass filter, and the operation by the high-pass filter, after the initialization processing have been performed in order from the head data to the tail data of respective digital data from the start position of a cycle made to correspond to the initialization processing.
