Abstract:
To provide means for rapidly picking an article without any mistake.SOLUTION: At a control part for generating a pop-out function for which attention is paid to a cognitively psychological phenomenon by which objects are recognized inevitably, that is, in a state where no control can be given by will of human being, provided is a display 20 for displaying information about a commodity, numerical quantity or the like of a picking object on a side of a placement shelf 10, under a situation where a plurality of recognition objects are present, when one of them has a cognitive property that is different from others, as an innate cognitive function of human being. An article storage container 52 is made to be movable on an article conveyance conveyor 50 arranged along a frame of the placement shelf 10. The article corresponding to the display 20 that is turned on is input to the article storage container 52 via picking. When the picking is completed, a completion confirmation operation of article-picking is carried out by reset means 24 of the display 20. The display uses a display function having a characteristic by which the display generates pop-out to a picker.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1A
